Xtreme Beginnerz Vol II is the sequel to the hugely successful Xtreme Beginnerz Vol. I (two DVD set). It is a completely new 2 DVD set that will feature a host of special guests and new experiences for all manipulators.
What is XB Vol II?
XB Vol II is entitled "New Beginnings" because it introduces you to even more new items. Most people will think that it is an extension of XB Vol I, as in that it will just expand on what was there... XB Vol II strives to introduce you to brand new items instead of just advancing the old. You will learn completely new and different things such as card throwing and some other new items that are not even similar to items in XB I. However there will be 1 single routine using moves from XB Vol I, and maybe a referrence or two. You can use this with or without XB Vol I.
Who is XB Vol II geared toward?
XB Vol II is geared to all manipulators, magicians, and anyone that loves manipulation.
Do I need to have XB I before I buy #2?
No! This is the great thing about Vol II, there are really only a few things that expand on the 1rst. Every other section is completely new and taught from the ground up so you don't HAVE to have Vol I. If you want to do the Vol I routine, then you will definately need to have it, but not so much for the rest.
Are we going to learn more about XCM as in performances and so on. What to bring, dress, what to pack in a bag etc?
NO! XB Vol II is more geared for learning new skills for your performances. We may entertain a performance DVD in the future, however felt that this project would be better for introdcing more new and fun material. Not everyone wants to be a pro XCMer and the XB series is about introducing people into the art of manipulation more than learning to become a full time working pro... so this time around, I left out the fine details as many were not ready for that yet. we'll save that for De'vo's pro guide.
Vol I was too easy, is this harder?
Vol II does have some much tougher material such as our 2 handed cut section. It will also have a few easy items, and some material that may be brand new to you - so the brand new items may present a challenge.
If I am a brand new beginner and never done any XCM before, can I get this DVD?
YES! We designed this DVD so that the "new beginnings" will be taught from the ground up without previous knowledge. Only a few things will require some previous knowledge or XCM I. We're not saying you'll nail everything right away, as everything takes training and patience, but with the exception of a few items, everything will be included.
How is the teaching done?
The teaching in XB Vol II is the same as Vol I - mostly no speaking and VERY in depth! We like the no speak method because it FORCES us to SHOW YOU EVERYTHING! This style has been accailmed by many people because of it's depth! In fact, we've been accused of OVER TEACHING! But we can live with that. Our goal is to teach you.... so that you can learn, and that is what we do.
What moves will be on the DVD?
One handed moves, 2 handed cuts, card throwing, Palm Back Fans, a complete routine, some utility moves, one hybird routine, and something completely different altogether! There may be a few other things as well that may appear.
How much do you think it will cost?
Right now it looks like another 2 DVDs - and will most likely cost the same as the first set. $39.95
Is the amount of material worth the cost?
Hells yeah! If you wanted Rick's DVD on card throwing alone, that's $30.00, and if you wanted some exclusive material from me, that could be anywhere from $30.00-$50.00 etc... now add moves from Jerry and so on and so on... $39.95 to learn from all of these artists is a steal! Again it's not about the quantity... it's about what you are learning. And We'll 100% gauruntee you that no DVD out there will offer the kind of artists and variety that you'll get from the XB series! We've been told time and time again that the measley $39.95 for the almost 4 hour DVD first set was WAY too cheap! We want it to be affordable and quality... that's the mark of a great deal!
Do you have plans to sell Vol I and II as a set?
There has been talks about this... but realize you'd be talking somewhere around 7-8 hours of material and probably 4 discs... but that would be sweet! 2 sets with Jerry, De'vo, Greg Irwin, Jeff McBride, Daryl, Rick Smith Jr., Ciappi, and other artists.... we'll see what happens.
How many moves will it teach?
We aren't sure of the exact move count, but it's about quality and content! XB Vol II won't teach near as many moves as XB I because it is much more specialized, however what you will learn will be very special as card throwing or palmback fans. So in short, We're not going to keep a move count... just a quality check on what is being taught.
Who will be appearing on the DVD?
#1 - JERRY CESTKOWSKI
Jerry will be teaching a routine that you can do with the moves from XB Vol I, and will be showing you a new deck twirl, and new deck separation variation.
#2 - DE'VO VOM SCHATTENREICH
De'vo will be teaching a smal section on a special hybird manipulation that everyone will love, as well as a few nice one handed moves.

Rick Smith with be teaching in great detail his famous power throw! He will also be teaching you the classic boomerang card. And you'll be able to watch how he incorporates throwing in his own act with 2 complete and uncut card throwing acts for real audiences.

Ciappi will teach you his Palmback Fans, basic, giant and his Arena Display. Plus you'll get to see some of his variations that have never been shown before.

#6 - ROBERT HEIM
Pen Spinning – Almost 1 hour of pen spinning instructions from Germany’s top pen spinner Robert Heim with layout by KAM. You will learn about pens, the basic moves, easy combos, and get to see some never before seen advanced/ideas. This section teaches with slow motion, visual instruction and voice over. There are far too many moves to list. Just watching the intro to this section on the DVD will leave you breathless. If you have ever wanted to learn about pen spinning, then look no further!
